“Inspiration of Touch” explores the invisible space where two human souls meet.
Two colorful faces emerge from opposite sides of the composition, each constructed from fragmented shapes, vibrant colors, and layered forms. These faces represent two individual worlds — different experiences, emotions, and identities.
At the center of the painting, two hands reach toward each other, echoing the timeless gesture of connection. The moment before touch becomes the focal point of the artwork — a symbol of trust, curiosity, and the human desire to understand another.
Using her signature 3D Cut Canvas technique, Zhanna Thomas literally opens the canvas, creating physical depth within the painting. The central opening reveals a quiet grey space between the figures, emphasizing the mysterious distance that always exists between two individuals.
Despite that distance, energy flows between them through lines, colors, and gestures. The artwork suggests that true connection is not only physical, but emotional and spiritual.
“Inspiration of touch” “reflects on relationships, dialogue, and the fragile yet powerful bridge that forms when two people reach toward each other.
