The Lucky Horseshoe explores the harmony of opposing energies through a dynamic 3D composition. A soft feminine figure inspired by Pablo Picasso reflects intuition and fluidity, while a geometric horse influenced by Piet Mondrian symbolizes movement, strength, and life’s fiery momentum.
This work is built on a dialogue between two energies, two states of being, and two artistic worlds.
On one side appears a soft feminine figure inspired by the spirit of Picasso, rendered in light pastel and blue tones. For the artist, this side represents the element of water — intuition, tenderness, inner depth, and the essence of feminine energy.
On the opposite side emerges the image of a horse, structured through a geometric rhythm inspired by the aesthetic language of Mondrian — balance, asymmetry, structure, and the interaction of forces. Here the horse is not simply an animal, but a symbol of movement, fire, speed, willpower, and life’s dynamic energy.
The painting reflects the idea that a new cycle of life requires not resistance to forces around us, but the ability to move in harmony with them. A horse cannot be controlled through force — it requires rhythm, trust, and balance. When that balance is found, life begins to offer rewards.
The horse’s hoof, painted in a warm bronze tone, symbolizes the reward for effort and the gifts that come when one learns to move in alignment with life’s energy.
Ultimately, this work speaks about the union of fire and water, impulse and softness, strength and sensitivity. It suggests that true resources and opportunities appear when inner opposites stop competing and begin working together in balance.
